I teach to go beyond the mat by interweaving the yoga discipline, philosophy, and practice into our daily lives through self-love, nutrition, and compassion to all.

My passion for yoga began with a self-guided practice and an intuitive understanding of movement, exploring formal flow through foundational sun-salutations.

The immediate benefits of yoga combined with my own curiosity led me into further study and formal credentialing. I received my 200-hour National Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification from Doug Swenson of South Lake Tahoe, California. Doug is a great yogi and passes on the lineage of many great teachers including Dr. Ernest Wood, K. Pattabhi Jois, David Williams, Nancy Gilgoff, Ramanand Patel, and others. I also have 30 hours of Baptiste Methodology training and Level 1 Reiki training.

I teach a foundational practice that cultivates holistic awareness and a myriad of health-promoting benefits. In addition to studio practice, I teach to go beyond the mat by interweaving the yoga discipline, philosophy, and practice into our daily lives through self-love, nutrition, and compassion to all. I welcome and encourage all levels of skill and ability in my classes.

I live, work and breathes the island lifestyle in Galveston, Texas. Catch me in the studio, at the beach, or biking around downtown Galveston.
