I am a vessel to help guide students in shedding unnecessary layers to become their most genuine self.

My hope as a teacher is to share what I love most about yoga: how it can create a foundation for physically, mentally, or spiritually going where you have not been before. Whether doing a more sustainable downward dog, achieving the ability to do a handstand, or finding something from within to empower yourself, I am a vessel to help guide my students in shedding unnecessary layers to become their most genuine self.

I combine what I have learned through teacher training with Rocky Heron, Forrest Yoga training with Ana Forrest, and my own love of rock climbing and being outdoors to bring a unique and playful approach to Vinyasa  classes. I love to intertwine the ancient philosophy of yoga with “here and now” yoga, combining light and love with real and raw.

While honoring the freedom to move your body the way it naturally wants to move, I blend strength-building, a variety of Forrest Yoga core techniques, mindfulness, and encouragement for students to tap into their physical and mental potential. The most essential part of my classes is Pranayama, or breath work.  I guide my classes to breathe in unison so they feel a part of something bigger than themselves.

You will laugh, you will play, you will connect, and you may possibly shed a tear, but mostly you will be invited to truly become who you aspire to be both on and off your mat.

When I am not teaching, you can find me outdoors with my dog Timber, experiencing all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
